We Appreciate Our Veterans Event

May 29th & 30t

Come and join Kimmswick for the fourth annual Salute Our Veterans Event May 23rd & 24th.

All Military Veterans are invited to participate as Kimmswick says “ Thank You” to everyone who has helped keep our Country free. The “Military Vehicle Preservation Association” will have several of their WWII vehicles on display including Jeeps, Staff Vehicles and Half Tracks.

The “2nd Rangers” will join-in with a Weapons and Ammunition Display, along with an encampment. They will be dressed in full military uniforms from WWII and will have two ammunitions demonstrations throughout the day.

All Veterans will be stopped at the MP Post complete with a crossing arm as they enter town and be presented with a commemorative pin.

The town will be decorated in Red, White and Blue with Flags flying high and most merchants will be giving free gifts and special offers to all Veterans as their way of saying Thank You.

We are very excited about this new event and hope that you will bring your whole family to Kimmswick and help us Salute Our Veterans.
